Default Wanting to buy new 2004 A8L.

Hi. I am considering trading my 2000 MB CL500 for a new 2004 A8L.
The MB has had more problems than any other car I can remember. Can anyone tell me their experience with the new A8L? Also, can the TV be programed to work? I had that feature on my 1997 BMW 540. Could get sound but no picture. My dealer refused to bring up the picture but someone at another dealership was happy to oblige for $100.

Hi twinwillow
Sorry i did not see you post earlier. Did you get a 2004 A8L?
I have had one since April 2004. Didnt know of this forum until i searched out a problem i had. Audi USA (Volkswagan) was really great in resolving it for me. I can tell you without fear of contradiction that the A8L is the finest motor car i have ever driven, owned or rode in. I am expecting a 2005 A8L and the improvements while subtle are right up my alley.
I dont know about the tv....i am still trying to figure out how all the amazing things work. Eventually i will get to the tv.
Good Luck!
