Well there are always people on the A4 forums posting vids of there 0-60 times. Now I think that we need one over here. It's a good benchmark to see where your car should be at with other comparable mods. So if you have an A6, no matter what year or engine, stick or auto post a vid here!! Try to tell what mods/engine/trans. you have though so everyone can know, if they aren't in your sig already!

that looks like alittle less than 6 seconds

When I clocked it from the video I got a little over 6 seconds. But I got a terrible launch and super sloppy shift into second. You can see that I let it go pretty far over redline. After I get the AIT fixed I want to get a better vid.

No one else wants to get in on this?? how lame...

Hmmm, i was thinking, my is slowest one ever made :) hehehe. I got just K&N filter and full trunk of my firshing stuff :) Hmm, i was thinking about chip, but that can improve my A6 just little bit (arround 6-10 HP).

I have a A6 from 2005, 2.0l, 140hp

probably I'm around 10,5secs (unless you mean 0-60kmh? :eek:)

I heard also that they can reconfig the motor or somethign like that and give you much more HP's without addig any hardware or so? anobody knows 'bout that?

I don't have videos, our vid camera broke monthsagobut from time to time i do runs which I can time with my on board vector accelerometer. With the TIP it i shard to launch, the fastest time was a 5.4, many other runs in mid-high 5's. plenty in the low 6 :(
With a strong launch and not revving it up to high I can consistantly get in the mid 5 but I hate doing this to my tip:)

Stock Tip: 6.5 to 6.7sec manufacturer
Stock 6sp: 6 to 6.2 sec

Thanks for the info. But yeah I know that a stock tip was around 6.5, but did you see his vids? The second one was DEF close to 8 secs. IDK, why. Hey btw Gigi, you have a nice mod list I would LOVE to see a vid from you as I am sure others would too!

^ I just got a new digital camera and I think it does have a short vid mode. I can try, not sure how to rig it so It shoots at the gauge cluster while I drive. I ma guessing holding it would shake a bit.
Mods help but more in rolling accdeleration, pickup when passing, accelerating from 50 or 60 on highway... These cars are not ment to do 0-60 with the tip. A new TC with higher stall rev would help that though, just don't have the $ for it.
Ia m going to get the tip chip as soon as I can get my hand on a cheap used tranny ECU to solder the tip chip on to.

Will try a vid. My guess is I'll be right at 6 secs. trying to get a good launch is not easy and seems to put serious strain on tranny. Timing gotta be just right. I can also take a pic of my numbers on the acceelerometer screen.
I lent it to a friend with a 335I and he ran mid 4's wiht chip onnly! :(
