Wuz up with the HP and brakes?
 

The 04 S-Line's,what gives them an extra 15 HP, is the computersetup differently?, is the turbos different?, and is the transmission different because of the extra HP?I looked all over yahoo and when I do a serach on the S-Line, it never talks about the engine, only that its only for 04. I did a search here and no one really talked about it, not the engine anyway. Does anyone know?

Also I read somewhere that the A6's with the sport suspension has bigger brakes then A6's without the sport suspension, is this ture? I did a search on brakes pads and it basically only show the A6 pads, like its only one size.

Different programming and same tranny (an extra 15HP won't hurt it).

As for brakes, all 2.7Ts and 4.2s come with bigger brakes. Pre-2002's had HP2 calipers, and 2002+ have ATE calipers,which require different pads.

So if the programming is different between the A6 and the S-line, if you was to get the S-line chipped, because the chip its re-programming the computer, would the chip give it 320hp (the 70hp gain) or 335hp? From what I've been reading, all the chips are for the A6, not the S-line.

GIAC has seperate chips for the S-Line and normal 2.7T...I would assume the tuners would be able to help you though.

APR does not have an S-line program (I asked); their stock program puts you back at 250hp. Bummer. I'm gonna go with GAIC.

Oh ok, so I guess "GIAC has 2 different chips" doesn't answer the question. Keep in mind that most people on here with a chipped2.7T don't have an S-Line.

Yea, you helped out by sayin GAIC makes a chip for the S-Line,but it didn't answer my question, I asked about the HP difference, not which chip to buy. And for you to say "Ask my Tuner", well, just like you said "Not everybody have an S-Line",everybody don'thave a tuner, thats why I ask the question on here.
