I've had my baby for about 3 months now and so far the only mod has been a euro front license plate (not pictured). I am planning on getting the windows tinted here in the next couple of weeks though. And in the last 3 months, I've been lucky enough to only have the engine coolant sensor go out on me ($155.71).

It's the mount for the factory installed hands-free system for the Motorola V60 (See here). When I got my car, I removed the black plastic piece and left the aluminum rail for use as just a grab handle.

I've also heard of people using it to somehow mount newer cell phones, iPods, and other gadgets. I was going to just remove the whole thing too, but I liked the way aluminum looked!

Why did it cost you $150 to replace the coolant sensor? Its like $25

Well, for the past month or so, the check engine light has been coming on and going off randomly. I didn't know what was causing it so I took it to the stealership. The part was like $33.50 and labor was $119, then there is tax... But hey, they did vacuum out my car and wash it for me, so that made it all better!

$119 in LABOR!!! It takes maybe 10mins. 5 to let the coolant cool down and 5 to swap out the old part with the new.

Do you research from now on before you go blowing money like that. That repair was a very easy DIY.

heh... Yeah the previous owner had some vinyl decals on the hood and doors.
Over time with that Cali sun some fading took place.
