He gave me a great price for a machine shop, less than half of what i was quoted before and he is going to assemble it for $150. The place my car is at had a quote for a machine shop of $1k. So, now my only concern is getting my engine from north of cincy to columbus and back
Oh yeah, he also had the crank for me

LOL, bumped the wrong thread. Engine comes out today and should be ready for assembly by the end of next week if im lucky

No just one big one when the time comes. But unfortunatly the engine is not out yet...BASTARDS, so its not going to be until later next week when i can pick it up and take it to columbus

i feel ya...not a small job. i would do it but would have to buy a hoist.....then again if they arent charging that much i would leave it to the pros(someone to blame if something goes wrong)

I WILL be picking up the engine tomarrow along with my intake manifold w/ TB so i can paint it to match them to the valve cover. Should look rather nice, and give me something to do.

Gary, 18jettapower on vortex, said he will send me pics of the progress.
Just found out when i picked up my engine to take it to him that my turbo is blown and my tip wasnt attached. The tip is probably the reason why i thought my maf was dead.
So i need a used ko3 since mine is gone and dont have the funds for a new kit at the moment. But i will charge up the old credit card for a clutch since it will save me hundreds to do it now since its still on the engine. Now i just need to decide on what i want clutch wise that will handle 325-350ftlbs

Oh, and the shop that has my car, just happen to have a very nice 944 porsche, 240sx, and my jaw dropped when i saw a reproduction 1970's Ford GT 40

I should be able to source one on vortex for ~$125. But i need to decide on a clutch so i can save me hundreds to not have the tranny removed again

Someone go with a gun and get my engine in the machine shop. I want my F'ing car back!!!
My used ko3s should be here tomarrow hopefully and still havent decided on a clutch. The guy i was going to buy his act claimed problems with paypal so im still up in the air between a act and spec stg2+. Might just go with spec since i can get a minor discount on it, should still be about $500 with 14lb FW

Actually i have before, its not fun. Just imaging being a keeper and having a semi-pro with a massive leg kick a ball as hard as possible from 10ft away. We will just say i took it in the face and my only good eye swelled shut. I was legally blind for about 20mins until i could get the swelling down some. I have also been kicked in the face so hard going down for the ball they broke the metal bracket thats behind my bottom teeth from braces.
