should be a bit louder and hold boost better.  If you get a apr r1 you will have the same results but faster response and no adjustments to make

from what i heard its stock like, but just a bit louder.  But the function is far more important than the sound

Do you have to clean the apr r1's?

edit:  like do you have to service them and clean them every x miles?

you can also throw on a cone filter if you want the sound

I am shopping for one too,
I found this vender is the cheapest one now, (on sale)

$135.00 (But I don't know about the sale tax and shipping fee)
but make sure you have the latest spring from it. but APR will replace one for you.
