Default Circle Audi, Long Beach, CA

Hey
about two months ago, I decided to try to somehow get out of my lease on a 1999 bmw 528i manual. I looked around, and decided to look at some audi's. I test drove the A6, and loved it, but was even more amazed by the A8 inside the shop. And so, i told the salesman that i had to talk it over with my wife, upon which the salesman at Circle Audi, Long Beach, CA, decided to give me the keys to a Northern Blue 2005 audi A8 4.2 with about 40miles on it, and tells me to drive home in the a8, pick up my wife, and drive back to the dealership (25mi., both ways). I was loving every bit of the car, and when I got back to the dealership with my wife, we wanted to test drive the A6. But after driving the A8, the A6 just didn't "tickle my fancy" anymore. The salesman was a really nice guy who helped me out a lot and got me an awesome lease deal on the A8 4.2 that I test drove. They took my 528i, and are going to keep it stored at their dealership, until the lease to bmw is over, which was great because I had basically reached the lease mileage limit.
Now, my engine's fully broken in, and I'm loving the power of it! No regrets with my decision!

Bottomline:
Circle Audi gets a big [sm=smiley20.gif]!

who was your salesman?

when I called Circle Audi, the salesman was not very helpful. He said they don't have many used cars and couldn't help me.

I spent the majority of my weekend test driving and negotiating a price on a pre owned A8. After much back and forth between the salesperson and the sales manager, we reached an agreement - or so I thought. After calling the dealership to arrange delivery, another sales manager (how many do they have?) told me the GM didn't like the deal and I would need to pay and additional $4000. Yes, you read it correctly, $4,000! This after confirming with the other "sales manager" the price and a few minor repairs to be included. I didn't realize a dealership could commit to a price and tell the customer all is good, only to have the GM dislike the deal and nix it the next day. Needless to say, this is certainly a disappointment.
An update - I was contacted by the original sales manager that was involved in my deal. He said he had met with the GM and that he was going to honor the original agreement. I took delivery last night. Aside from the initial issue, I have to say that he came through on his promise and it was a smooth transaction. The people involved could not have been any nicer. I'm now the proud owner of a 2006 A8 Sport. Thanks Circle Audi for stepping up to the plate and honoring your word.
