Default Can These Coilovers Work???

I was just looking for a pair of coilovers for my 92' 100 S and noticed that they are freakin expensive. I dont want to get lowering springs because you cant adjust the height and its gonna suck in the winter. Then i was looking at the VW coilovers for the Passat and Jetta. You can get those suckers for like $100 on E-Bay!!!! Can These coilovers work? The VW is almost the same platform as the Audi's. The only thing that would matter would have to be the strut and if it would slide in. So does anybody think that the VW coilovers would work cause my car is on stilts and doesnt look good with the 17"'s low pro.

Not knowing the platforms of either your car nor the passat or Jetta, I wouldn't be able to advise. I can tell you that they have to match. You have to be able to maintain the same camber as OE. If the control arms are different you could run into severe alignment problems.... and the perches would need to be similar, too.

Yeah thats what i was thinking, the camber would be the problem that i would more than likely run into. I think i might just get rid of my 205/40/17's and have to get a 205/45/17 or 205/50/17 to make it look better.
