Hey all,

I just installed the neuspeed intake and was wondering if any of you that have it + DSG are also experiencing a louder, more gurgling sound at takeoff?

Starting from a stop once i get past 2nd gear it usually sounds like how I remember intakes sound like (its been 4-5 years since Ive had one).

I made sure all the seals were tight. No lights are on. My car is not chipped.


BTW, my car has fairly low miles (11k). Installing this should not lessen the lifespam of my car correct? And if my service adviser told me "I shouldnt have any problem with the mod" concerning warranty, that means I dont have to uninstall and reinstall my intake for warranty purposes when I go in right?

The intake sound is normal. It will get louder if you chip the car.

BTW, why do you have a CAI and no other mods? It won't do much for a stock set-up by itself.

As far as the dealer having warranty issues...it will depend on the dealer. It's very possible that they could make an issue over it.
