I searched through numerous articles both here and Audiworld. I hope its ok to mention the AW word here. And I could not find an answer to my question.

I have an 01 2.7t w/ auto leveling HIDs. Sometimes the passenger side is beaming up while the driver side seems to be beaming normal. Eventually, it settles back to normal, (sometimes) why is this? Can I do something to correct it; like turn the headlights off and on, or wait to turn them on after I leave my sloped driveway and hit the level street. I know this is starting to sound stupid but I'm anal about this sh^t.
P.S......My car is always parked on a downward angle in my driveway (front of car down and rear of car up) Does this matter?

Also, every time I hit bumps or potholes the lights flicker. Is that because the lights are on a auto-leveling system and they're suspended or something? Or am I experiencing a problem? Does anyone else have this? Or is it just me. I sound like I'm back in school asking my buddies if the red bumps and itching are normal. LOL!  Wow that sucked! Come on guys, help me out or at least agree with me here!

Thanks
E

The lights are programed to level themselves automatically but they don't keep the memory of where you were last at. It levels itself every time it feels that the car is on a slope so i don't see why you would have an issue with it doing what it's supposed to.
If it's getting stuck I would check the motor that controls that headlight and see if it is getting stuck.

Cool! Thanks EnviedA6. What about the lights flickering when hitting rough spots and bumps in the road. Is this normal also?
