Default A2 Suspension Failure

I have an Audi A2 on a 51 plate. It has covered the grand total of 43700 miles in 3.5 years, from new. It has been with the local dealer since Saturday to investigate a sound when parking that can only be described like a spring being released at high pressure. It turns out that the spring has failed.

Hot news, They have now discovered that the spring on the other side is near to failure as well. Has anyone out there come across this type of failure before?

Default RE: A2 Suspension Failure

I have an A2 and have had 4 suspension failures in 2 years!!! 2 broken springs and 2 mis-seated springs. The second failure was a result of bad fitting by Wayside Audi in Milton Keynes. In the end had to get an outside garage to put it right.....
and now I have a fuel line problem! Will the probs ever end?????
