SUMZAUDI -> Pipercross or K&N Air Filter (10/4/2007 4:58:09 AM)

Hi All,
I want to get a performance air filter for my A3 1.8T (2001), and was looking at either K&N or Pipercross. I'm not really interested in the induction kit, but does anyone have any experience on which filter is better?
Also I know the K&N Filter is oil based, is the Pipercross one also oil based? It doesnt state anything on their website so I'm not sure.
Are there any other filters people can recommend?
