Default Where to purchase oil filter for 4.2

Where online is the best price to buy an oil filter for '01 A6 4.2? I've been surfing and the lowest I found was $15 for a Mann filter. I went to Napa and the Napa brand was $30. Frankly, Im not used to buying oil filters that retail $30!

Is the Mann filter brand going to do the job right?

I've used the site and got good filters at a good price.http://www.germanfilters.com/. I went to mobile 1 extended performance. I use the M1-204. I have a 2.7T. Good Luck.

I always get mine at the dealer for $14.25 plus I always get a new crush ring for the drain plug, thats another $1.35. So for about $17 I get everythingI need. Try calling around to a couple of dealers around your area and see what they want for a filter, thats what I did. One dealer wanted $28 for the same filter and autozone wanted somewhere around $60, I forgot the price cuz I was too busy laughing at them. Good luck on your hunt.
