Default Dubwerx in Cincinnati

Does anyone have any experience with this place? I've heard they dont have a very good rep but they are listed on APR's website and I was thinking of taking my car there when I decide to get my chip done depending on their price and what I hear about them. They are only about 8 miles from me. The next closest APR dealer is listed in Lexington. If I don't go to Dubwerx then I'm going to send it to ECS in Cleveland.

Dubwerx is nice. They did my test chip for apr. They know alot about the 1.8t's go for it. They are very knowledgable.
My buddy went to the louiseville place and had nothing but problems from his apr TT.

hey mister2, i know this thread is kinda old, but I was just in correspondance with dubwerx yesterday about the exact same question, and about having them install a forge 007. here is the reply:
[hr]

Bob,

The chip is an awesome upgrade. This list price is $399 for the software.
For your 1999 car we would have to remove the ECU and send it off to be chipped.
We have a loaner ECU to borrow while your is chipped. Labor is $60 and shipping
should be around $25 for a total of $515.46 out the door including parts, labor,
and sales tax. On the diverter valve, it will need to be upgraded in order to
handle the additional boost the chip will give. The forge is nice and if you
provided it we can install it for $30, or you can purchase the Audi TT diverter
valve for $50 which does the same thing. You can call us mon-fro 10am to 7pm for
more infor or for scheduling, thanks!

I'm sure you've heard this question about a million times, but i'm looking to
chip my '99 Audi 1.8T, it has the KO3, and I was just curious how much you
charge to install the chip, and all other necessary process. also, I wanted to
upgrade my DV to a forge 007, will you install that as well, or is that up to
me? Thanks in advance for your response.

Thanks, Bob Williams

BTW, my a4 is the pre-facelift variety, so it could be slightly different for your 99.5, but i doubt it.
