I'd choose the RS4.  No I havent driven one, but I have driven plenty of rear wheel drive BMW's.  Honestly they are incredible cars just the fact that in the rain and snow they are somewhat dangerous.  Also I find it funny that the RS4 has a better gearbox than BMW, since when does this happen for as long as I remember BMW has always has the best gearboxes.  **** BMW they look ugly now and plus they have **** reliability.  To me all the new BMW's look like girl cars, nothing wrong there I just wouldnt drive one, while the RS4 is as manly as can be.  AUDI FOR LIFE

"choose the BMW for it's rear-wheel drive"

I don't understand this statement.
Why would anyone want only the rear wheels powered?

The main difference between these two cars is that if driven at the limit through a turn,
the BMW will oversteer and the Audi will stay neutral -- like demonstrated in this (french) video:

http://www.youtube.com/v/zbnjJAkxB40

The audi stays longer neutral, since it can power all wheels and thus the rear wheels don't have to transmit as much forward power and thus can transmit more power sideways to stay in the turn.
