I know how to use photoshop and all that stuff but i tried once to get it to be a sig it said it was to big. So heres my question how do i make a sig and makesure it is the right size to be able to fit as my sig? Can i make it fit by changing the quality number when saving it in photoshop?

yes, use the "save for web" option. Adjust the file size to your liking. Try creating an account on photobucket, where the limit is much higher. It's also easier to use imo.

the best format to save it as is .jpeg, you can also use .bmp but those files are much bigger....in photoshop, click file, save as, and underneath the filename text box, click that box and scroll down to .jpeg...then load the .jpeg into photobucket......

i save mine as a bitmap it seems to be a smaller file, easier to upload but i have 56k
u can resize the picture with photoshop

Bitmaps are Jpegs and Gifs.

bmp's have a MUCH larger file size than jpgs or gifs. Your sig is about 10 times larger than it would be had you compressed with a jpg format.

Not quite. Jpegs are good for images/photos, gifs are good for computer generated images with few colors, and bmp isn't really good for web use at all because of large file sizes.

.bmps, .jpegs, and .gifs are all completely different file types, evil. .gifs are not good for sigs if you want detail, like mine, or jest's
