I have a 2007 Q7 3.6 Premium. It is prewired for the tow hitch, but it doesn't have the tow hitch. I think $1500 for a factory tow hitch from the dealer is a bit much. So, I am looking at aftermarket. The install sheet on their website seems like it's an easy job once you get the taillights and rear fascia off. Has anyone done this type of install and give any advice; especially "gotchas" that I should avoid? I'm somewhat of a weekend mechanic and like to work on my own cars, so any advice is appreciated.
