Default WRX -> 97 B5 V6

Hi everyone,

I recently have had to sell my WRX and buy a B5. My WRX was Stage 2 and I did almost all of the modding myself and was an active member of nasioc (www.nasioc.com). I am looking forward to modding my B5 and was just wondering what kind of power I can get out of the V6. Right now I am not sure which version of the V6 I have, but I heard there was two versions. Anyway, any help or knowledge as to where to get started or some websites that sell aftermarket stuff would be great.

Spike

Good place to start

Lotsa power potential....there is more with the WRX though, being lighter and cheaper to mod.

The B5S4 is a much nicer car though, though I do like the Imprezza my sister has a nice stock black one.

First of all, welcome to the forum Spike700!

I have the turbo version of the B5. From what I heard, you can supercharge your V6 for the biggest power increase.

However, there aren't many mods available for the V6 in the market compare to the turbo version.

you have the 97 which I think is still the 12v if that is the case, welcome to the club of slow people. I also have a 12v and it's fun but not at all fast.

If you have the 30v then you can get a PES supercharger for about 5k I think which makes the car respectable.

Welcome to the Audi club.
