Well, looking at it from simply a "sportsman" perspective, he has TOPPED his sport, for this sports year. Over a long, grueling season in which he's had more than his share of setbacks, HE, alone, stands at the top of the hill, for 2007!

Unlike teh "World-Series," which ONLY included teams from America, ditto teh American footbal "world" championship, the Super-Bowl... F1 invites ALL worthy enough to be offered a ride, a chance to compete. lol@world series. The only thing that's good about the Sox hanging on for so long is that WAAF is playing the Dropkick Murphy's like crazy.

well, I've lived in MORE than just one country, in my life, so I have a tendency t look at things form a not just American perspective. Part of teh reason American are viewed by many as ego-centric @$$h0le$ is because we ARE ego-centric @$$h0le$. We may be teh onlybig-boy left on teh block, but we AIN'T the ONLY kid on teh block.

About time he got it...I've been wanting Kimi totake the WorldChampionship crownsince he got on board with the McLaren team. The move to Ferrari was the right choice for him

Webber qualified in 5th, then the usual happened. But it was an awesome season.

My point was that I simply didn't even know who he was. And I was embarrased that I didn't know such a clearly obvious fact, espcially on a car forum

Kimi is like the BA of F1(if memory serves me correctly), he doesn't exactly meet the mold for your average F1 driver and I think that why I like him so much. I've always rooted for him, and I'm glad he finally won it.
