Default Day Off ftmfw

Yeah, so, I totally have today off. I love having semi-random days off. Ima spend some quality time under the hood of my Miata today, probably hit the lady up later to see what she's got going on, and probably take her to F1 boston.
What do you guys do on days off? I have to enjoy it since I work waaaaaaaay too much!

Now that I'm a "contractor," as opposed to the nice, cushy "salaried" position I used to hold, any time I take off is money OUT of my pocket!!! Time off ONLY happens, for me, now, during medical emergencies or family problems...

I love being salaried. It makes days/weeks off even more enjoyable.

Damn nice to have a random day off. Those often seem like the best days off. Where you have nothing scheduled and can just do w/e you feel like.

Yeah. Don't get me wrong, I love my job 100% but I totally enjoy the time off once in a while. Granted, since I have the attention span of a gnat, I get bored waaaay too easilly.

going back to school for that doctorate after years in the real world. full time student, 16 hours of class per week. couple hours of study, definitely under 20hr total per week. i have friday-sunday free. everytime i hear how these kids have no time cause of school, i lmao. keep telling them to wait until they get out and experience real "problems" funny. oh yeah, my apt complex here won't allow any car repairs, so i cant even tinker w/the car in my down time.
