Poor throttle response on my audi
 

Hi,

I have a problem with my 2002 A6.
All of a sudden the car seems to have lost power and it needs a lot of throttle to go past the second gear.
I had the same problem last time and it was the brake light switch. I checked the brake lights and they work fine. So, i dont think its the brake light swtich this time. The problem started just yesterday.
If i give full throttle, then it slowly picks up the speed.

My observations:
1. I usually go to a particular gas station to fill up my gas on my way to work. This time it was a different one outside the town.
2. passenger side brake light went off few days back and i replaced it with a new brake light and it works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I also have the 02 A6 I will see what I can find out and get back to you.... When was the last time you where in for service,air filter,spark plugs,fuel filter, also check vacume hoses
