Default Rust proofing?

I just bought a 2007 A4 Quattro (sedan). I live in Canada where we have snow for about 3 months a year (and the goverment puts salt on the roads to melt the ice and snow often). Are Audi's known for rusting prematurely? Should I get rustproofing (i.e. for example a yearly application of Rust Check)? Any other suggestions welcomed. Thank you.

Default RE: Rust proofing?

Audi is very good about preventing rust. Hell, the body panels are galvanized. That's why your car has such a ridiculously long corrosion warranty.
