I think the mythbusters did something on this...if i remember correctly it ended with a seized motor. Maybe if they put more sand in it, it will run better.

Sand is like synthetic oil. Once you start using sand, you just can't get the same performance any more from pure filtered air.

its defently a joke, for the ones who thought otherwise.
this message has been posted on audi world, vw vortex and audizine already.
but its actualy real and happend, it was a young teen or something that done it and origanly posted it up on audizine (i think).
