Default Where's my warranty???

No offense but if Audi and Porsche + VW are such nice cars then why don't we get a better warranty?
50K and what happens BOOM there goes whatever probally the computer of some other electronic device. I was just about ready to buy a newer S4 and the warranty is the same 4 50 what the #%*@ 50 Thousand dollars and what do you get well a nice car but what about the follow up later down the road, what, buy another aftermarket warranty . Forget about the price tag for a minute and think Hyundai, Chevy, Dodge ect...warranties there POS's for 100K what does this tell you. I'll tell what I think they believe, there $20,000.00 cars will run for at least 100K before any major repair and if there was, they the manufacturer will cover it free of any cost to to owner. So does this mean that these higher dollar cars that boast about their impecable ride and performance and outstanding price tags are really that much better by comparison??? What I am saying is that I love my VW's and Audi's and wouldn't give them up for anything but wouldn't it be nice for the manufacturer to back up what they sell especially if the really believe that their vechicles are superior to the masses of mobile scrap on the road today.

umm yes, itd be nice. And I reject the idea that dodges are pos, at 90k miles my dads hemi ram is running just a strong as the first day...and practically no warranty work was ever done....they're built SOLID. My dads benz though was always in the shop because of the electronics....what im saying is the base of Audis and other german cars mahy be strong, but electronics and computer arent nearly as sturdy....anyway the more complicated a car gets, the more likely it is to break...

I would have to admit that American cars are nice but they just don't seem to be as asteticly pleasing as the Euro's.Your right, the more HiTech a car gets the more your gonna have to make "adjustments" LOL

well aesthetically pleasing is one thing, dont forget an audi, benz, or bmw with similar hp and size tend to cost at least 50% more I mean a dodge charger r/t awd loaded up to the top is gonna come to about 40k...... go find me a european car with 345hp and 370 tq with the same wheelbase....gonna cost mid 55 to start then add on some options itll be more like 70k..............

Default RE: Where's my warranty???

Thank you for correcting my grammer I did go to public school after all.LOL...If every car was built like the new 6.0 we wouln't have anything to worry about. I almost bought a new GTO but then I fouund out they where unibody frames and well that was that. You must own a Euro so I'm sure you know why we drive them, it's not always about power, although I was inclined to spend a LITTLE money on my ride.
