i got my first audi in 96. i needed a car with quattro cuz my house has a long steep driveway and midwest winters can have snow/ice.
i have never been a SUV kinda gal, and back then the choices were limited on all wheel drive sedans.
i've never looked back since then....been an "audigal" ever since.

ok, i will start it off....... i got my b5 a4 1.8tqm, because i used to work at the emissions stationback in 98/99and all these richy ladies would bring in their b5 a4 quattros, that would pass in 35 seconds(fast pass)and i thought wow sexy woman, sexy car, i want one, but that was when they were still high $'s
so when i needed a new car this time around, i decided to go look for one, it was between a 1.8t or s4, and with the job i have and the price of gas, i went stupid and said i gotta save some money and decided to get a 1.8....... searched hard to finally find my ebony pearl 01 1.8tqm........ but my next car, cause of having 2 kids, will either be a b5 s4 avant or a c5 2.7t, if they come in avants with 6smt, i might even look into one of those...... but that is at least 2 years down the road...............
also cause the b5's are by far the sexiest of the a4's

i am in the same area as you are........ but i mean the car you have now...... not original car, but that is ok.......and you never answered or if you did i never went back to look, did you used to own a s4 2.7t?

oh, and the wife wants a q7........ so we will be making my a4 our third car when i get my c5...... but here is the question,we were talking about getting a tt or something as a weekend play toy........ but what about getting an older 80/90/100 as the third car and making my a4 a bt playtoy?
how reliable are the 80/90/100's? are they just the a4/a6/a8, like they look to be?

well i just wanted a quattro in general, to me it was the FWD and RWD put together, i also wanted luxury and i started to research audi and well here i am, i got my A4 because it just came along at a such a good price, and when it got wrecked i was about to purchase a 200 turbo avant but my dad wouldnt let me so i got antoher 12v. and now like you said the B5 are the sexiest of the A4 line up so im getting another B5 although its either going to be a 1.8t, 2.8 S4 or in avant form, no more 12v for me.

(this is the hand-me-down car to my husband, who BTW never cleans it...inside or out[:@])
i got my current car because i wanted the power of 340 horsies and it was high time i had a convertible!! found the exact car i wanted on autotrader and bought it.
this isn't the best place for a cab (climate wise) but i still love having it.
my next car....(fingers crossed)....someday.....(fingers crossed)...will be the RS4 Cabriolet. and THAT will be a killer car to drive (i haven't driven a manual for many years)!!!

was your a6 stock or did you tune it at all?
and you could give me his a6 and i will give him my a4, since he doesn't deserve it
there is a guy that just got an rs.... and it is beautiful, but 85 g's.....man........ 340 is nice, but i would prefer a 2.7t or a 4.2n/a motor anyday
