the "audiforums" site you are currently reading in belongs to a larger "forums" "universe" that was recently bought by a new "parent" company. The change (increase) in ads has been a gradual, evoultionary process. That they are here ensures that *you* have a place to come visit, to rant about ads and such. They pay the bills (server space for the old-a$$'d threads y'all sometimes dig up, for instance), and keep AF connected to the outside world. Sometimes they ARE helpful. In fact, even if you don't like what they're touting, click on them, once in a while. The "click-through" loot helps to pay our admins paychecks, and supporst the S-Line company cars all us Admins & Mods enjoy as part of our... OOPS!!! Forgot... I wasn't supposed to mention that part. Forget that I mentiond that, OK?!?!?
