S3 GRILL JUST INSTALLED..QUICK ADVICE MY A3.3 version
 

IM NOT SURE IF ANYONE POST SOMETHING ABOUT THIS BEFORE BUT JUST IN CASE....." S-LINE GRILL VS S3 GRILL "..........I JUST INSTALLED AN S3 GRILL ON MY S-LINE BUMPER....... I READ EVERYWHERE..... "PERFECT FIT REPLACEMENT"........ NO IS NOT....NO IS NOT...NO IS NOT....FROM LEFT TO RIGHT.....NO PROBLEM......FROM TOP FITS OK......BOTTOM DOESNT FIT......S3 GRILL IS SMALLER.........BUT WAIT......
MY CASE: I ALREADY SPENT THE MONEY FROM EBAY...... WAITED FOR IT DESPERATELY......BTW THE BUMPER WAS OUT ON THE SIDE......TOOK ME FOREVER TO REMOVE THE S-LINE GRILL OUT OF THE BUMPER.....WHAT A PAIN.....EVERYTHING GOT ITS TRICKS.......THE LITTLE DOZEN BRACKETS BACK OF THE S-LINE BUMPER " ARE NOT " THE SAME .....THE S3 GRILL COMES WITH THIS TOTALLY DIFFERENT SET UP BACK THERE........
BOTTOM LINE........ FUNNY THING.......THERES A GAP AT THE BOTTOM OF THE GRILL NOW..... SO SMALL.... AND SO PERFECT.....THAT LOOKS OEM......
LOOKS AWESOME.......NEEDS TO BE CUT EVERYWHERE AND WITH THE HELP OF A FEW SCREWS ...... SEMI-PERFECT FIT......... I REMOVED THE 3 OUT OF THE S3 EMBLEM.... SO READS "S" COS I DONT WANNA BE RIDIN ON A FAKE S3.......and now that little 3 seats next to the back A3 emblem readin "A3.3 "
I COULD POST SOME PICTURES....IF SOMEONE SHOWS ME HOW .......... I'VE BEEN TRYIN TO POST BUT IT SAYS SERVER ERROR..... I GOT THE RIGHT FORMAT OF PICTURE AND SIZE........
hope this is helpful for future S3 grill buyers......

p.d : THE EURO plate holder doesnt fit on S3 grill......hahaha so more drilling.......
my plate holder says "MADE IN GERMANY" ....something is wrong there.....too much beer maybe......

first of all you gotta clam down bud,
if you wanna post pictures all you have to do is:
1. upload to photobucket
2. Copy pase the URL
3. type in [img] URL [/img]
and then you can post pictures

OHHH so thats your car.....hahah ......i remember lookin at this car (your car) and thinkin "WOW someone did it and it actually fits perfect...." so i never even notice the gap but thank you ... after that i was confident about my purchase of S3 grill.........somehow i saw your car picture somewhere.....

If you did a search on this forum or vortex (S3 bumper thread by me), there have been numerous threads about the Grill and Bumper. So not sure where you have been looking.

Mine fits perfectly however. ;)

your grill looks good to me, i doubt anyone will be like OH NICE GRILL EXCEPT FOR THAT TINY GAP IN THE BOTTOM
