It is a 2001 Audi and he got the rear drivers side door and the side mirror. Can anyone help me on the expected cost of replacement. I am going for estimates tomorrow and I am afraid of the sticker shock. Fortunately, All the 8 point buck got was those two things... Thanks for any insight you can give me...  Post #: 1

Did ya st least keep the rack? Sorry man...Hitting nature isn't fun. I sprayed an ELK across the front of my pickup once and it was like hitting a brick wall. Totalled the truck, cracked my ribs, and bloodied my lip. The damn thing gets up with a limp and walked away. Probably died later. I felt sorry for it. Anyways, check with your insurance company and see what coverage you have for instances like these. If anything else, pay the deductible to get it fixed. Your insurance should not go up (premium). RE: &%#^#@#&*$ Deer ran into the side of my - 11/28/2007 9:55:27 AM    h8state   Posts: 53 Joined: 10/3/2007 Status: offline I think the deer was jealous, he had 4 legs and I had my Audi! :) He rammed the rear door..Strange deal...I got a quote of 2594.00 for replacing the door and window, painting the whole side to blend.... The estimator said if he had been 6 inches either way it would have skyrocketed the estimate to include a quarter panel and such so I guess I am lucky... Wierd thing is my side air bags didn't go off when he plaowed into the car. At what speed do they go off? I gave the deer to a locker that cuts and cleans for food for the homeless...The least I could do and my friend got the rack... (in reply to prbayha) Post #: 5
