If I can make a suggestion, remove the chrome from the lower grill.  Otherwise I really like the look.

Install is about 15 minutes, clips on stock grille were a little hard, and all those plastic clips are easy to break so I had to use strength but very carefully to remove the stock grille. It made it out ok, as long as I ahe all gthe 4 upper and 2 side clips set and pushed out a bit. OEM grill is of good quality and much heavier than the replacement one. Grille comes out toward the front and upward.
Putting the grill in and getting the hood ltach on was abit tricker, it took a lot of pushing and adjusting to get the lowe clips situated right beofre I push on the top and side to snap it in. It is not that bad though.

Should have read your 1st post more carefully.  Thought it seemed stange you were leaving the lower grill chrome.  I like the look so much I think I might get a new grill for my A6.

I kinda like the 4 rings too. Has anyone seem a blacked out grill with rings ?

Yeap saw one, it is my goal but am not sure hot to get to that. Just saw a pic.
But this front grill was affordable and a easy mod. You could try and smoke the rings and ege of a stock grill I guess.

Thanks. I'll probably try to smoke the rings. If that doesnt work or looks bad I can always go without rings since it is affordable.
