Default Thinking about the Kenwood DDX6019

I was thinking of installing the DDX9019 in my 2003 A4. The site says it will not fit in my car but I think it's doable. Does anyone have any experiance with this head unit before I shell out the 450 bucks? I'm looking into getting a custom mout made. Any information on this would be helpful.

The 2 DIN units will fit - but will require a custom mount because I'm unaware of any off the shelf install kits for Audi's and 2DIN units.
