Another newbe with a question about DV. Would a stock 2002 A4 1.8T gain anything or benefit from an after market DV, such as a HyperBoost Core DV or HyperBoost HX Compact DV. Or do you need to have any type of upgrades. If i did install this DV would i have to reset the cars computer or could i just "plug and Play". Any info would help alot. its a plug n play thing. Computer will compensate and learn to use it. No power gained from it only efficiency, or rather it will help turbo to spool faster and release slower thus the cars effective power use is increased. This means the car will be quicker in accelerations, not a one second thing or anything but will increase slightly. Also when accelerating while on the move it will reduce lag. When your shifting while accelerating it will not do the pressure drop as quickly because it acts as a resservoir and boost is kept while going to a higher gear, thus more constant power thus a little bit faster times if you where to measure them. no need for computer flash if only this is put in car.
