Default homelink - programming ONE button

i have a 2000 a4 with homelink. all 3 buttons are programmed. however, i need to change ONE. is it possible to reprogram just one button without resetting all 3? i can't find any info on this in the manual or homelink's site. i need the other 2 buttons to remain programmed. i just need to change one. any help would be awesome. thanks

have you tried holding the one button down and then pointing the current remote at it? I know it has directions in the manual. Good luck.

Woo even tho the manual says that you can reprogram a single button, I held one of my buttons in for over a minute with no flashing LED. I finally relented and performed the 1/3 button full reset and everything programmed just fine.
