I have a line on a '93 90 CS Quattro locally.  It is pretty darned clean, the only thing that gives me pause is the fact that it has ~110k miles on it.  If it was a Toyota, I would go ahead without hesitation.  Are these engines known for getting a ton of miles out of them, or is this one likely worn out?  Any input would be appreciated.

my 87 5000 has 115k on it, i have been told that the engines are very reliable in these cars. I would say as long as it runs good, and you can see maintnence records go for it

its a common sense answer really and like any engine regardless of make of car ( you look after it and it will pay back in dividends ), most higher mileage engines have had many parts replaced so its always like newish and 200k+ is nothing to these engines ( even Toyota's break down )

well im not sure what motor that is, but my 96 a6 has 282 000km on and has never been opened and dosent lose water or oil and stiil goes damn well, no smoke either .maby that helps. ,i also test drove a 94  model a6 once before i purchased mine more than a year ago, it was a manual and it had 462 000km on and still went well for a car that wasnt looked well after, and the motor wasnt opened either, it just smoked a little..

I havent posted like for a good amount of time already.

My car is 1995 Audi 90, which has AFC engine, while 1993 has AAN engine.  No large diference.

I have 195K miles, and its still going. I would like to replace some seals, and re ring the engine, however I dont really need too at all, works great.
As Toyota vs Audi
Audi wins
A lot more reliable.
