Default Zumbach new york audi dealer

I took my Audi to Zumbach, a Manhattan, New York dealer, to have the ignition switch replaced due to a recall. I got a call from them later that day telling that the reason my ignition key wouldn't automatically recoil back to running position after I started the car, was not because of the defective switch but rather because of the tumbler, which will cost $450 to fix. I called my regular mechanic who's German and an Audi specialist, he confirmed my suspicions: the tumbler had nothing to do with it, the recoil mechanism is in the electric part of the switch, the part they are supposed to replace.they were trying to cheat me! I was outraged, i called them back and I told them what I thought, they put the switch inlike they were supposed to and never said a word and the switch works perfectly. Unbelievable!
