Default Gear shift plate(8E1-713-110-E-3Q7)

Any advice would be grateful. Have a 2003 A4 cab. The cover plate surround for the selector scale/tiptronic is scratched, has anybody knowledge on how to re-lacquer or clean up the scratches

Hi Guys

I have the same proplem. £92 from Audi in the UK and it doesn't seem to be any cheaper anywhere else.
