ok heres the low down

97 audi A8-4.2
160K miles

i just replaced a window regulator in my driver side

this is where it gets weird

in the morning when its been a cold night the car will not start
key in ignition, but radio doesnt turn on, nothing does

but i took out the radiator fuse and put it back in and in a few seconds the car just lights up

i have done this a couple of mornings now, and always have to wait until it get a little warm, but after it starts, i have no problems

any answers?

hopefully this isn't a catch question? but here is one answer ( you haven't set the window electrics up so the system doesn't know its there ) you have to program the system like when you unhook the battery ( the windows have to be reset in memory for the alarm/immobilizer) just an idea
