New Problem discovered!! Is It True ?
 

I have a friend that owns a BMtrouble-u and told me that if you get a used audi ranging from the year 96-99 the main ECU goes out. He says that when purchasing an audi with a 5 yr warrenty and after the five years the ecu goes boom and the warrenty doesnt cover it. Is this true? has anyone had this problem ?

1st thing - ur posting this in the welcome new members area -

2nd - why would someone who owns a BMW have inside knowledge on Audis?
did he used to own one / or work on them?

are you asking about the A4s specifically? or All Audis in general?
