Default Opinions: TT or S4?

Well I'm a noob with audi's but have plenty of knowledge about cars in general. I'm here to ask an opinion on which car the audi enthusiasts would get if they were in my position. I've had numerous honda's and a couple bmw's as well as 2 dodges. I currently own a 600hp civic and dont want to drive it back and forth to work all the time. I have been around a few S4's with the 2.7 twins (B5 body code i think)and like the cars for what they are. I've also heard they have some issues and stuff though. The other audi I was looking at was the 1.8 TT coupe.

Basically I want to get one of the cars just not sure which one. price isn't a bigissue and from what i've seen they're pretty close in price.

I want the car as a DD and either way i go i want to lower it on springs, chip it, and do a custom exhaust. probably 3" and i'd be building the exhaust myself at the shop.

Any opinions, pros, cons, anything at all that would help with my decision would be greatly appreciated.

S4 all the way fora DD, its fairly reliable, has some of the audi bugs such as wheel bearing and T-belt need to be done at something like 90k. otherwise 2.7 bi-turbo, geared for about 180mph (atificially limited to 143) overall great car. TT, has the 1.8t which is a potent engine but reaches its stock limits at around 350hp
