I have just purchases a 1990 V8 and it runs well but the transmission has a difficult time selecting gears. It will run thought the gears but at a cruising speed it feels as if the transmission is going from gear to gear. Another sign is when i am at a stop light and the car is in gear and i have my foot on the brake the idle goes up and down but in neutral the idle is steady. Does anyone have any suggestions?
