Default Help instaling HID lights

Bought the hids from vision.
It a 2004 B6

Whats the neatest way to instal the wiring. Is it nessesary to cut a hole in the back of the light unit to run the wires or is it best to cut the wires in the loom andsplice in there?

Ive read here that the ballast will sit ok under the light with double sided tape to keep it secure.

So if anyone has photos or some simple advice on what worked for them that would be great

This is very useful but it doesnt say about connecting to the ballast.

I drilled a hole in the cover behind the light and fit a gromet in it. Double sided tape won't hold very long. Use silicone.
