My 2000 A8 isn't picking up any satellites, 0 of 8. Any ideas? Just picked this vehicle up (now I have one too many). It has the CD for southeast US. I'm presently in North East US. Obviously wrong regions, but shouldn't the GPS still get picked up?

No, if your in the wrong region it won't pick up those satelites, the newer versions will pick up the entire country.
