Default Newbie - St Louis

Yo what's up guys,
Just joined here and really excited to get involved in the Audi community. I have a 2006 A4 in metallic silver (owned since last summer) with no mods yet but I am looking to do an ECU upgrade in the near future. I have done a little research and looks like APR or GIAC are both good routes to go? Also, I read on here that the stock diverter valve should be replaced with the ECU upgrade to handle the added boost. Which one would you guys recommend? Thanks! I look forward to learning more about this beautiful car!
