Ive been reading alot of the stuff posted up on this site and found alot to be very helpful. I do have a question of my own about a head light that has moisture in it. I own a 2001 A6 2.7T and Ive owned it for about a year and during spring and fall my left headlight gets moisture in it, not sure how it gets there. Any suggestions on how to fix it and why it happens.

NoOne else has this problem? Ive seen a few audis with this. Does anyone know why and how to fix it? Without paying Audi $105/hr.

Must be a leak somewhere. Use a heat gun and carefully heat up the edge of the lens. The adhesive will loosen and you can pull the lens off. Go to the dealer and purchase some Audi OEM silicon glue and reapply around the edges where the lens meets the headlight body. Heat it up again and reseal. Be careful, it gets messy. Now use a blow dryer and shoot the air in from the back with the rear service lid off. Blow out any moisture and put the cover back on. It should be airtight and ready to take on the world. This is a lot of work and theres no guarantee that the leak isn't coming from somewhere else. Only way to solve it for sure is to buy an entirely new headlight. On ebay you can get halogens for less than $200. Gluck.

I just had the same thing happen to me and I took it to Mohegan Lake Audi. I was shown the TSB where it specifically instructs the dealer not to replace the headlight. The work around is running the xenons for 10-15 minutes, that however does not work in my case. So i'm going to press for a new light seeing as that it's still under warranty.

u could try to use a filler, like apoxy or somethin to re-seal the headlight
