Default techs i need your help, multiple codes

ok so today im driving around and my car feels different, No CEL but then again im pretty sure my CEL light is burnt out. anyways i pull ou tmy code reader and WTF i have 7 codes.

16545
16525
16539
16519 they all refer to the O2 sensors, apparently all four
17817- tank ventalation value-electrivcal malfunction
17808-EGR vavle circuit-electrical malfunction
17919-Intake manifold changeover valve-electrical malfunction

whats going on here, the car runs, it drive i just have these random @$$ codes out of nowhere, the only thing that i can think thats changed in my habits is i seafoamed the car yesterday.

BTW 1996 audi A4 quattro 5 speed.

Since you think your CEL is burned out, clear the codes, drive the car for a day, and then check the codes again. Some of those codes could have been there for weeks or more. If you're still getting the electrical fault codes, then check the physical condition of the wiring harness, look for rotting insulation near the plugs and anywhere the sheathing can be puled back. A lot of german cars from that era use wiring harnesses made by the same company and they are all starting to have problems with the wire insulation deteriorating and causing multiple shorts.

that was the first thing i checked, all wires look good, cleared codes last night, came back today. only other person to get this was redgoat and ive already PMed him so hopefully he can shed some light on the matter.

ok so i was on AW and i read one of redgoats post saying he had a blown fuse, #29 to be exact, i pulled it out and sure enough it was out, on the panel it said it was engine timing, replaced it and imediatly all codes went away without me even clearing them.

well that would answer your question # 29 = EVAP valve, o2 sensor heating, intake manifold valve ( remind me to say check all the fuses lol)
