Well I'm 17, and unfortunately can't afford this car. But I loved it SO SO SO SO much I didn't care, sold some of my guitars, and bought it anyways =]
Its got the basic features and it has only 51,000 miles on it. Its in absolutely beautiful condition, mechanically and aesthetically. I paid $16,200.
Unfortunately, it is an automatic, and tiptronic doesnt really do it for me.... so the first upgrade I do will probably be the a tipchip to get rid of some of the delay.
I have two questions...
1. was this a good buy or did I get ripped off? Tell me honestly what you think.. it doesn't matter because either way I am happy with my purchase.
2. what should I name my new baby? (I always name my cars, but I can't think of a good name for this one) She's just so beautiful I can't yet convey my thoughts into words.
nice... im thinking of picking up one of those after i sell my 98 2.8

Congrats. From here, it looks like you paid a fair market price for the car. You should be proud of the cost, unless there is something mechanically wrong with the car.
And take some time in your baby before she earns a name. Sometimes you have to let the car's personality declare itself. Then it's easy.
Anyway, good luck with the new ride.

It's a great vehicle even if it's an automatic. I doubt it is "basic" - most of them are heavily loaded with standard features as well as options. It's sounds like a reasonable price for the low mileage. It's about $12k less than I bought mine for 2-1/2 years and 71k miles ago. I'm at 108k right now and going strong. Enjoy her.

Well im in WA so I think I need front plates... but if they arent requried then I am definitely not putting them on..haha.
I plan on getting tint, probably a little bit more than the legal limit (no one can tell).... hoping to do like 5-10 in the back, 20-25 windows, and 50 on windsheild

Maybe I wont... does it help w/ glare at all though? My pupils dilate really easy for some reason (its weird) and im super sensitive to bright sun, so I actually wanting a bit o' tint on the windsheild to try and reduce the glare a bit.

As for name, there is the obvious Black Beauty that comes to mind. Twins for twin turbos, Sleeper, Gd Ma's T's... seriously, what kind of name do you like? short or long multi world names? car related?... Example of your old cars' names?
Mine's is Big Blue!

Well my moms beemer is named baby blue, (coincidence? lol), my old lexus was baby lex, my old altima was alice.
I mainly choose girls names for my cars.. .haha. Something to use in conversation... example: "Should we take your car to the movies? Nah.. lets just take alice"

Nice looking car!!
You got a good price on it.I just purchased an 2004 A6 2.7t Sline myself a few weeks ago ,auto w/tip trans, all theoptional toyson itat 70k and paid $16,500. They are very nice cars but set money aside as they are very expensive to have serviced. Your first big expense will be at75k it will need timing belt kit service and might as well have the cam seals done then which will cost you around 1,200-1,600 also good time for tune upand tranny check.
I am dreading the day when I have to replace the pirelli 235/40/18 zero nero tires .Everythig is very nice, but at an expense.
Enjoy your new baby and keep close to this web pageas thereis great advise from other Audi fans that can answer lots of question and give great advice.

You can name this car baby piggy. Then paint her pink and start depositing coins.

Congrats. Just bought a 2003 2.7t 6-spd 3 months ago. Mine had 59k on it, and I paid $14,800. Of course, I work for a dealership, so I bought it for what we owned it for :D. 16,200 sounds like the correct amount for a retail deal.
