So I am selling my 19" BBS RSGTs and 17" BBS RC AND am searching for the impossible... 18's for better ride than my 19's and more tirewall for protection on our nasty streets... and they should be on the cheaper side and strong !!!:D
I am looking at
BBS CH's I might be bale to get for 1600 set, which is the most I would pay for rims... but they have no lip. I think a lip helps our car's appearance

RH AO Phoenix, probably 900-1000$ for the set

Oettinger RE ???? ow much, 1600 for the set?

BUT I also saw these that I like very much... However I have found very little info on the company. What do you know of the brand and these specific wheels? I like those rims and they seem to be CHEAP!
Also their fitement tool say the won't fit my car but I think i is BS... Check info at link below

ALL in 18 X 8.5 probably ET35
What's your opinion on ADR?
but also
your top choice among all the above, considering my car's look and size.
Thanks

I will go with BBS, as the quality is the best, and also they were offered by Audi in 2003 as an option. RH AO Phoenix, however, will be pain in the a** to clean the brake dust on the riveted sides.

im sorry.. i meant the new factory rims that are comming out... like the ones on the S5, or any of the RS lines.
I personally like the factory allroad rims with the rivets... to give you an example ofwhere my tastes lie

You don't want cheap rims. Those BBS are amazing looking! look very similar to my OEM wheels on my '03 A6!
Of course, mine are only 17s. The wife won't let me upgrade since I sold my old car shortly after putting the nicer wheels on it and she feels that I "lost money" by doing it.

I like the RH Vesuv!! Real classic looking!!! Those or the ADR with lip!! Either would look really nice!!!

Like the RH Vesuv too,l the design of the wheel makes it look bigger like a 19 and would keep better proportions. They also can be done in Anthracite, which would look even better thna in silver.. Just wished they had a lip... They make them in 2pice with liop but price is 2X that:( ONLY concern with the vesuv is that the center part is small, leaving lots of open space and in the rear the SMALL rotor might look stupid :)

I was also looking into some ADR's a while ago. There web-site is preety well put together, not just a bunch of b/s put in one..
check their W/S www.adrwheels.com (http://www.adrwheels.com)

checked their web site, found the applications for my car, still like the 42 M best. I just wish I knew more about the brand and wheels, or some of you (had) owned them and could share feedback and experiences

AND I have always liked these... but I heard bad stuff about Axxis wheels, form a quality standpoint?
What do you guys think of this wheel and AXXIS? This one has the maxxi lip for staggered look
18x8 size offset 30 and 38 available... price is low 300's/wheel..
http://www.gmpperformance.com/CFJFiles/GMP/5695.jpg
A stunning new design from Axis that continues the success of the "Maxis Lip", the Axis Decade brings the staggered look of cars that can't accept a staggered fitment. An almost 2 inch lip in the front is paired with an almost 3 1/4" lip in the rear for an awesome staggered look on many cars. Available exclusively in an 18 diameter, the Axis Decade is sure to be an instant classic. The Decade comes in a Hyper Silver finish with a stainless polished lip that is just as lusterous as chrome without being as fragile. The Axis Decade is available in four and five lug applications.

I think I would either go with the Oettinger or the BBS
I personally really like the Oettinger... just because they have a really clean look

I think the hands down winner is the Oettinger.

I actually liked the Oettinger the least!! Look a lot like stock wheels!!! Why pay that much for boring wheels!?!?! Still think the ADR wheels are the nicest!!! Real sporty looking!!

We each have different opinions. I guess that is what makes the world interesting. I will note thatthere has been only one vote for the ADrs.

Thanks guys for the opinions. From a look standpoint, the Oettinger and ADR's are my top 2. Price is favor of the ADR's but I was also told by a local shop to pass on ADR for quality reasons compared to European manufacturers especially.
I think the Oettinger has a neat look, less busy than ADR and I also ahve two sets of mesh currently, so a different look pattern like the RE or Decades would be nice too.
Got quoted 1950 for the REs wihtout tires, which is more than I wanted to spend.. but do have two potential buyers for my RSGT's and 1 for my RC's, so if I sell both well, I could spend the $ on the RE's...
By the way, now i need tires too!!!!
I think I am going for the new ultra high perf summer Vredestein tires. People with Porsches and BImmers rave about their quality, handling, price combo and won't get any other brands.

Just stay away from run flats, they are noisy and cannot be repaired.

I posted in your Audizine post, but thought I'd throw in my .02 for this one. I vote for 18" ASA ZR2's...26 lbs each and under $1000 for the set.
