Aftermarkte in-dash Navi and stock antenna?
I have no clue so I thought I would ask. I think (think being the key word here) that the kind of bulbous-looking sharkfin stock antenna on my 2004 B6 A4 hasthe satellite radio nav antenna built in. Sort of an all-in-one antenna. I know it has sat at least because of my stock Sirius.
Question is, would it work being hooked up to an aftermarket Nav such as an AVIC-D3? That's the unit I am shooting for, but I want to try to avoid having to mount the Pioneer antenna anywhere. I don't mind mounting it, I just don't want an extra antenna mounted somewhere on the vehicle.
