When you purchased your unlimited account you agreed to the following terms and conditions:

"I agree to pay a one-time charge of $29.99 (USD), plus applicable sales tax, according to my card issuer agreement.
This 30 day Unlimited CARFAX Reports Plan is valid for 30 days from the date the first report is run, and is intended for my personal use only.
Commercial use, resale and redistribution of CARFAX Reports is strictly prohibited and may lead to deactivation of my account and the imposition of additional charges for CARFAX Reports.
I agree that my CARFAX Report purchase shall be governed by all the Terms and Conditions of use of the CARFAX Web Site."

Since you were reported as distributing or selling reports you are in violation of this agreement.
Your account has only been turned off.
We reserve the right to charge $24.99 per report for these and/or additional violations - particularly if your postings/advertisements are not removed ASAP.

We look forward to serving you in the future for your PERSONAL car shopping needs with the purchase of single reports only. <---hahaha you cant be serious

You are a generous and kind forum member. I used it to look up my A6, my wife's 2007 Mercury Milan (which we bought used last month), and a 2005 Crossfire that I am thinking of buying. All three were clean althought the details on the titles was a little confusing. It shows me as the 4th owner of the A6 when I know I bought it from the original owner. Even the dealer told me he traded an S4 for the A6 and had all his work done there.

It may be because you ran so many reports in such a short time. A friend of mine got the same message with his "unlimited" account after running 50 cars in a week's time and he really was just using it for his own shopping. I guess if you try to get full use out of the 30 day membership, they automatically assume you're abusing the system and shut you down. Just because you got that doesn't mean they actually know you were doing something wrong.

Sucks for me, I am going to look at an A6 next weekend and I was going to hit you up for a report on it. LOL

they probably noticed that different IP addresses were logging on from all over the place that would be physically impossible to travel the distances that they were apart, so they shut you down. i wonder if it might have been different if everyone had just pm'd you their VINs and just had you post the report for them.
