Hello Everyone,

I am thinking about purchasing a 2006 - 2007 A6 quattro. I noticed that there are several fully loaded V6's on the market with under 20K on them for a very fair price compared to a comparable 5 series BMW. I have some questions:

1.) I can get a pretty good deal through CarMax or Luxury Motors, but Audi dealers claim a certified program which warantees the car through 100,000 miles. Ofcourse the cars sold at Audi dealers are more expensive. Is this piece of mind really worth the premium?

2.) All of the new cars come with a screen and dial type controller but not all include navigation. Is the navigation just a plug in module that the dealer can install? What about blue tooth?

3.) Mods. Is there a magical chip ala' VW GTI that increases the HP and torque?

4.) Any problems with this model that you diehards are aware of?

Any advise, recommendations, etc. are sincerely appreciated.
