A3 Bluetooth won't connect with Verizon Venus
 

My 2008 A3 will not recognize my new Verizon LG8800 (Venus) phone. My phone shows the Audi but stops after initially reading the data, then won't connect.

That sucks. Check with your dealer to see if they have a bluetooth conection upgrade. Should be free if they do.

Actually I got rid of my LG 8700 and bought a new LG 8650 (Chocolate) and it works like a charm!

yes, this is a problem with the audi bluetooth... I had a verizon gleam that wouldn't hook up... I finally downgraded to an older razr, but i really don't care about having a newer phone so I'm ok with it. The bluetooth isn't upgradable via a software patch unfortunatly (according to the dealer)
one option to explore if it really bugs you is to get a new aftermarket stereo with bluetooth.
